Friday the 13th Part 4: Kinetic Killing
Saturday Apr 18, 2015
Saturday Apr 18, 2015
Another deep dive into the terrifying world of Friday the 13th! It's the end of the "core four" and the final flight of Gordon the Golden Retriever. Among other things, we contemplate the undulating bottoms in '80s exercise videos and wonder if Jason could beat a bear (yes).

Friday the 13th Part 3: Jason Grows Up

Sunday Apr 05, 2015
In what is ironically a more one-dimensional movie than its predecessors, Jason goes 3-D on y'all in this studio campfest! Your hosts also discuss a particular piece of hockey equipment and its hapless original owner, "duck scares" and why blacking out is the best way to survive a Jason attack.

Friday the 13th Part 2: Evil Backwoods Wizardry
Tuesday Mar 24, 2015
Tuesday Mar 24, 2015
We eagerly accept another helping of Friday the 13th
filmage with the seminal second one, which features a lanky, bag-headed Jason
trotting around with a pitchfork. Topics include tasteful “semi”-frontals,
Jason’s violent introduction to the concept of death, and why it’s a good thing
Muffin the Dog didn’t have Aunt Flo in town.

Friday the 13th Part 1: The Strength of the Insane
Friday Mar 13, 2015
Friday Mar 13, 2015
We start our tour of the Friday franchise (not the Ice Cube one) at the beginning (not the New Beginning). Pamela and Part 1 provide plenty of burning questions about the film (not The Burning). Was Jason Voorhees dead all along? Is this really more like J Horror and Blair Witch than Halloween? Other topics include scary camping stories, the Final Girl's tomboy haircut, servin' the Bacon, and homicidal griffins.

MARCH MADMEN
From the co-creator of the Xs & Ys Podcast comes an in-depth but light-hearted look at horror movies! MARCH MADMEN is a podcast that aims to answer the question, "what is the greatest horror movie ever made?" Set up like a ghastly imitation of the NCAA basketball tournament, we pair films in a series of death matches to see which one reigns supreme in each subgenre of horror. Season One of our macabre competition focused on the HAUNTED HOUSE movie. Season Two attacked the SLASHER genre. Now, 32 ZOMBIE MOVIES must go head to head, two by two, until we've voted on every pairing. Expect heated debates, drinking games, semi-serious film criticism, and lots of laughs. Of course, as our long-time listeners have come to expect, in the later rounds each film will receive a loving but THOROUGH autopsy...
Featuring script analyst John Evans, screenwriter Vikram Weet ("Devil's Pass"), and author Luke Merrick.
